When this trend started to emerge from all the social media streams that I am on, I was in the form of a shock. I just couldn't believe the ugly shoes could be new favorites with it-girls just like that ?! Black birch stock was all over my Instagram, Tumblr and Pinterest feed! The trend from the 90s hit again, and this time the clothes looked even better.

After that it struck me: they are not that bad. Birkenstock's main characteristic is a tremendous comfort. You can wear them all day and your feet will still feel like they are at 8 in the morning.
If you like minimalist clothes, you will love birch stock shoes. The blacks are classic and can be paired with anything.
