Sometimes I feel that I'm too big a fan of popular colors like gray, black, white and blue. There are colors that are easy to style. At the same time, I don't want a fixed mindset when it comes to outfit ideas. I want to be proud to tell my friends that I have a growth pattern. Variety is good for clothes as there are 365 days in a year. In this blog post I will explore one of the most beautiful colors without power for clothes: forest green.
Dark green knitted sweater & forest green skirt
I will start with the list of a beautiful girl in the next door. Match a dark green knitted sweater with a forest green mini skirt. Complete outfit with leggings and black ballet heels. The feel of the outfit is perfect for the mood of autumn and winter.
White shirt dress with forest green blazer
This outfit can very likely make you look slimmer and taller. It consists of the white button dress layered under a forest green blazer. For best results, pair the blazer with color matching heeled sandals.
Green faux fur jacket
For a unique and eye-catching look, you can wear a green faux fur jacket. Pair it with a gray mini skirt, socks and black heels.
Black cropped leather jacket and green jeans
For those of you who like to try jeans with crazy colors like pink and red, the forest green is no where near the crazy but very unique look. You can wear the skinny forest green jeans with a plaid shirt that is layered under a black leather jacket. Complete outfit with black ankle shoes.
Green knee length dress with brown belt
As a business casual work suit, you can try on the green knee-length dress with black heels. The thick brown belt can really spice up the suit and also make the waist look more obvious.
Green Coat with Black Leggings & Oxford Shoes
As a very simple winter look, you can simply wear a large, long forest green gown that actually covers most of your body. On the side of the coat you can simply wear a white shirt and a pencil skirt. Wear black leggings with oxford shoes at the bottom.
Green sweater with black and white striped pencil skirt
For a business-casual look that is suitable for spring, you can wear a slim fit green shirt with a black and striped pencil skirt. To see even more low key, simply replace the skirt with a black pencil or flare skirt.
Forest green blazer with orange blouse
This is a great example of how unconventional color combinations can make you look creative and fun. Just use an orange blouse with a forest green blazer for the top. Instead of keeping it safe by pairing with black trousers or skinny jeans, the outfit gets crazier when paired with navy blue pants. The contrast between orange, green and navy is amazing, but you really have to try them and see what it looks like because some people just don't look good with crazy colors.
White button shirt with forest green pants
One thing I like about the white button up shirt so much is that you can wear it pants in any color. You can look at least decent as long as the trim of the shirt and pants fits your body and you make a good choice of shoes to accompany your pants. For this suit, simply wear the white shirt with forest green skinny pants. The brown suede ankle boots would be the perfect shoes to wear.
Long sleeve forest green shirt with black leather pants
Green button shirt is not so common. If you can get one, you can easily wear the black skinny pants and light pink heels. Alternatively, white jeans will look great with the outfit.
Green cardigan over Floral Sundress
For a refreshing spring look, try wearing a gray or green floral sundress and have the forest green cardigan stored over it. Wear high-heeled sandals that fit the outfit. For a beach or seaside cottage it is perfect to wear a grass hat with this outfit.
Forest green knitted sweater with checkered scarf
For a beautiful and low key winter that is not at all clumsy, you can wear a green comfortable knit sweater with a checkered scarf for the top. Pair them with leggings and black ankle boots.
Wear green blazer with cheetah scarf
This is another low key beautiful winter costume that you can wear to work. Wear the green blazer over a gray t-shirt. For the bottom, just wear black thin pants and heel sandals. The magic of this outfit is in the cheetah scarf.
Green long sleeve fit and Flare Dress
As an absolutely minimal costume, wear only a long sleeve, forest green fit and flare dress. Complete the simple yet fantastic stylish suit with black leggings and leather boots. By the way, if you like fit and flare dresses, make sure you check out our other blog post on this topic.
Green cable knit sweater with white tee & jeans
I've talked about a lot of business suits. Let's talk about a casual street outfit now. For this stylish casual suit, wear only a white t-shirt with a green cable shirt over it. Wear them with blue jeans and white sneakers.
