When it comes to chinos, many people associate them with unemployed or formal work suits. They don't seem to have anything to do with casual wear. The truth is that if you really pay attention to how you design them correctly, you can also get a young and smart casual look. Jeans are still my favorite item for causal clothing, no doubt about it. But it's always good to add variety to your daily outfit. You have 365 days a year. You want to try different things, not for surprising people, but to make you happy by simply having fun. In this blog post, I will share with you some of my favorite ways to wear chinos casual.
Gray long sleeve T-shirt with navy blue chinos
Let me start with a simple outfit that fits all seasons. Just wear a gray long sleeve tee with navy blue chinos and white sneakers. In cold weather, you can simply add a black dyke skirt to the suit.
Wide striped tee with beige chinos
As simple as this outfit seems, it is a fantastic demonstration of how matching colors can make your outfit more balanced. You may have noticed that the white t-shirt has some wide stripes that fit perfectly with the beige chinos. Wearing a pair of color matching sandals or ankle boots will complement this outfit flawlessly.
White top with clean overlay
Outside of my head, there are two major benefits of wearing beige chinos. First, the color is so subtle that they do not draw the focus away from the upper body. Secondly, they are usually just razor pants that are quite easy to pull off for all body types. Back to this outfit, as a chict and casual way to wear the beige chinos, pair them with a white vest top with sheer overlays and leather ankle boots. Don't miss the little details like the leather bracelets, the belt and having your chinos rolled to make the legs look longer.
White tee and low waist chinos
This outfit looks very simple, but it is actually a sexy little outfit. The low waist-treated chinos and heeled sandals can keep the focus in the upper part of the body. Therefore, you can wear something beautiful and subtly sexy like a semi-pure white t-shirt. The coolest part of this outfit is that no one will think that you are trying hard to look sexy. They are only attracted to you without knowing why.
Tan Chinos with black cropped tee
I've just covered a lot of outfit ideas that involve white tops, simply because chinos are easy to wear with white tops. When you want to try a black top, you probably need to pay a little more attention to the combination of color and trim to avoid looking out of balance. As a good example, this outfit consists of a black cropped t-shirt and tan chinos. Rolled your chinos and pair with slip-on canvas sneakers. Horizontal striped tee & white chinos
I sometimes think you can wear white jeans and white chinos alternately. Jeans actually look better than chinos with casual outfits, but chinos are often more comfortable to wear. So it's not bad to choose. To wear white chinos casual you can wear a long sleeve navy blue and white horizontal striped tee. Pair the outfit with black and white cloth shoes.
Olive chinos with white sweater
Another popular color for chinos is olives. The color itself seems very comfortable and looks like it is quite easy to style it in a relaxed way. You can simply pair the green chinos with a white sweater and white sneakers. If you want to add some character to the suit, you can wear chukka boots instead.
Wear with gray sweater over checkered shirt
Like a beautiful casual outfit idea that uses some tricks with layers, it can probably make you look slimmer and taller. You would like to wear a plaid shirt and cover it with a gray sweater. Pair them with cuffed chino and flat fleece shoes. I really love the perfect balance of this outfit that is achieved through the perfect layer. You should only try this as it is not that difficult to pull off. Just make sure you get the details and balance properly.
Wear with long sleeve white and light gray striped tee
Designing black chinos is the easiest way to wear a white top. For a little twist, you can wear a white and light gray striped t-shirt. A thin belt can also help balance all the pieces.
Cropped Chinos with gray knitted sweater
Very interesting, loose-fit gray chinos can actually make you look something sporty. It must be because it reminds me of the gray jogs. Regardless, a light gray knitted sweater and cuffed gray chinos is a good casual outfit. Pair them with white sneakers to complete the suit.
Purple tee with gray chinos
As simple as this outfit seems, the color combination makes it my favorite outfit idea in the list. Three simple pieces, namely the purple t-shirt, the cuffed gray chinos and the white sneakers, just look so perfectly matched when put together.
Cropped chinos with denim shirt
So can argue that a shirt does not belong to this blog post which focuses on wearing relaxed. I would argue that denim shirt stands right at the border of casual and business casual. Anyway, the end is to look good. Simply pair denim shirt with cuffed chinos and black flats for this outfit that is both suitable for work and casual hangouts.
